Radio Card Q & A's

Where can I locate the software for my Zoltrix Radio Card?

Zoltrix has sold three models of the Radio Plus. The first two were sold with the same packaging, but the software required for each model is different. The first Model is referred to as the Zoltrix Radio Plus, while the newer Model is referred to as the Zoltrix Radio Plus 108. The newest and current model is the Zoltrix Radio Plus for Windows.

To unzip any of the software to a floppy disk in Drive A: use the following:

PKUNZIP filename -d A:
You must add the -d parameter to create the original directory structure!

Will my Zoltrix Radio Plus Card software work in Windows NT?

The current Radio Plus for Windows does not have Windows NT drivers available at this time. But the two older models have NT drivers. Just download and install this updated version for the Radio Plus 108 that operates in Win 3.1x/Win95 or Win NT 3.51 or 4.0, or this this version for the original Zoltrix Radio Plus.

How can I connect the same speaker to both my Sound Card and my Radio Card?

You cannot connect the same speakers to both devices with out a splitter that would only allow current flow in one direction. You would not want the output of one device being fed into the output jack of another. It may blow up the built in amplifiers.

You could send the output of the Radio card to the line input of the sound card. You would then only need to switch sources on the sound card mixer to hear or record the radio. Since the output of the radio card is amplified, you must keep the volume level very low on the radio card to ensure that the sound cards line-in circuitry is not damaged.
