Windows 95/98 Driver
The Driver used in Windows 95/98 must match the CPU type correctly. You will find drivers for Pentium CPU's, Cyrix 686 CPU's and systems of any CPU type that support MMX. If your Pentium or Cyrix CPU supports MMX, use the MMX driver.
Pentium CPU's

Filename: pct217is.exe

The file contains the Windows 95/98 drivers intended for all Pentium class CPU's. The ATi3 response will indicate the CPU type.
Installation instructions:

After downloading the file, run the pct217is.exe program (Click here to see a picture of the WinZip Self Extractor main screen). Select the folder or diskette to unzip the file to and then click the unzip button. (If you cannot locate the file you downloaded, use the Windows Find command to search for the pct217is.exe program on your hard disk.)

Refer to the readme.txt file included in the file for installation instructions to remove the current driver and install the new driver. (This file will be found in the folder you unzipped the files to in step #1)

Windows NT 4.0 Driver
The Driver used in Windows NT only operates on a Pentium CPU. The Cyrix 686 CPU is not supported.

The file contains the Windows NT drivers intended for all Pentium CPU's. The ATi3 response will indicate the CPU type.

Select the folder or diskette to unzip the file to and then click the unzip button. (If you cannot locate the file you downloaded, use the Windows Find command to search for the pcnt217.exe program on your hard disk.)

After installing the modem driver Go to Dial-Up Networking \ More \ Edit entry and modem properties \ Security then select "Accept any authentication including clear text"

Note: Although Zoltrix provides a Windows NT 4.0 driver, Zoltrix does not provide technical support for Windows NT including drivers and communication software bundled with the modem. These drivers should be used on a NT workstation only and not installed on a NT Server. Only hardware based modems should be used on an NT server.

Windows 3.1x Driver

The Driver used in Windows 3.1x only operates on a Pentium CPU. The Cyrix 686 CPU is not supported.
