This model is a software WinModem that depending upon the Windows driver installed, supports either K56Flex or is a Dual-Mode modem that supports both V.90 and K56 Flex and automatically determines the remote modems protocol.
The ATi3 response changes depending upon the Windows software driver that is installed and the CPU used.
FMHSP56i is NOT the correct item number for the 56K HSP modem. This was incorrectly printed on some boxes.
FMHSP56p is the correct model #.
