its contents, and selecting a command. FaxTalk Messenger contains File, Edit, Modem,
Configure, Mailbox, Window, and Help menus. When a menu item is unavailable for a specific
window or operation, it is grayed out or dimmed.
FaxTalk Messenger uses a dynamic menuing system. This means that different menu items are available to you depending on which FaxTalk Messenger Window icon (child window) is currently active. Specific commands may also operate differently depending on which child window is open.
FaxTalk Messenger WindowsChild windows have the same conventions as the parent, but can only be accessed when the parent program window is open. The child windows are accessed by double-clicking on the associated icons that are displayed on the bottom of the FaxTalk Messenger program window.
Child windows are resized just like parent (program) windows. Move the pointer down to the border surrounding the window (thin lines that surround the outer edge of the window) and click and drag to enlarge or reduce the size of a window. Once a window has been resized, select the Window > Save Arrangement command to retain your changes.
