About This Guide
In this User's Guide it is assumed that the user is familiar with using the Microsoft Windows operating environment. This includes an understanding of how to:

• use a mouse or other pointing device to click, double-click, drag, and select information
• scroll using scroll bars
• open and close program windows
• navigate through an icon- and menu-driven application

If you have any questions about these skills, consult your computer, pointing device, and/or Microsoft Windows documentation for assistance.

This User's Guide describes how to use FaxTalk Phone and FaxTalk Messenger for personal voice messaging and to send and receive faxes.

When feature descriptions refer to selecting a specific menu command, it is referenced as shown in the following example:

To save a fax file select the File > Save As command indicating that the Save As command is to be selected from the File menu.
