About This Guide
In this User's Guide it is assumed that the user is familiar with using a computer from within the Microsoft Windows operating environment. This includes an understanding of how to:

• use a mouse or other pointing device, to click, double-click, drag and select information
• scroll using scroll bars
• open and close program windows
• navigate through an icon- and menu-driven application

If you have any questions about these skills, consult your computer, pointing device and/or Microsoft Windows documentation for assistance.

This User's Guide describes how to use FaxTalk Plus for Windows software to send and receive faxes with any Group 3 compatible, Class 1, Class 2 or SendFax modem.

When feature descriptions refer to selecting a specific menu command, it is referenced as shown in the following example.

To save a fax file select the File > Save As command.
