How to unZIP files

Some of the ZIP files located on this page have a directory structure that needs to be recreated when unzipping to a floppy. If the original directory structure is not re-created, the installation program will fail!

To unzip the file to a floppy disk in Drive A: with the DOS based PKUNZIP program use the following:

PKUNZIP filename -d A:

You must include the -d switch or the directories will not be created on the disk and the installation program will fail!

You can also use many other Windows based unzipping programs like WinZip or PKZIP for Windows to unzip the files, but make sure that you restore the directory structure.

Where to get a unzipping program

If you do not have a unzipping program you can download the DOS shareware version PKZ204G.EXE or go to PKWare's web site at http://www.pkware.com.
